Association Management Services Northwest (AMS) is seeking an experienced maintenance technician for an exciting full-time opportunity! Due to explosive growth, we are in immediate need of a skilled technician to service multiple mid-rise properties in the heart of Portland and Vancouver. This Position:

As the On-Site Maintenance Technician working in our Association department, you will maintain the cleanliness of the facilities, grounds, and restrooms, monitor building security and safety in and around the facilities, and provide customer service to residents while performing duties as assigned. This position will float between two different properties in the greater Vancouver area. The schedule will be Saturday and Sunday from 7:30am-4:30pm, split between two communities.

  • Educated and Experienced: You are at least 18 years of age and have a general working knowledge of household or commercial cleaning chemicals.

You Will:

  • Clean building floors, entry doors, exterior light fixtures, and front entrances of buildings by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and scrubbing.
  • Empty all trash receptacles and utilize the trash compactor daily.
  • Service, clean, sanitize, and supply restrooms.
  • Clean and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment throughout the property.
  • Replace exterior building lights, fixtures, and building sensors, performing other light maintenance duties as assigned. Notify the supervisor concerning the need for any additional property maintenance.
  • Pressure wash areas as assigned and clean patios, sidewalks and walking paths.
  • Maintain good public relations and interact with clients, customers, and co-workers in a positive, respectful, and professional manner at all times.
